Val Davies is a 5x Blue Ribbon, self-taught crochet artist from Philadelphia, PA currently living in Roanoke, VA. Since picking up a crochet hook for the first time in January 2019 she has worked up many beautiful heirlooms for purchases and gifts. Val won her first Blue Ribbon at the 2022 Salem Fair with her first-ever entry - the Sunset Phoenix afghan. Val has since won 4 more first place ribbons and 2 third place ribbons at the 2023 and 2024 Salem Fair!
